The road out of Oslo runs along the Oslofjord and the cycle path here is one of the most used by cyclists in Norway. It is very nice to cycle along the seaside. Through Asker, there will be a few height meters to climb. It´s more rural and you cycle on small roads passing by the charming outdoor Asker museum with a beautiful garden. Asker center has several cafes if you want a rest.
The route continues with some climbing as it heads further toward Lier, followed by a steady descent into Drammen. Along the Drammen River, the cycling conditions are excellent all the way to the city center. In Drammen, you’ll find plenty of hotels, restaurants, and activities to enjoy on both sides of the river.
