Embark on a diverse cycling adventure starting with a 15 km stretch of smooth asphalt. Despite some elevation gains, the ride is easy on this low-traffic road. The elevated areas provide stunning views over forests, hills, and lakes, perfect for a refreshing pause to take in the scenery.
As you turn towards Risberget, the path transitions to gravel for the remainder of the journey. Risberget, a quaint hamlet with farms and cultural landscapes, hosts the charming Risberget Church Hall. This spot is ideal for a stop, offering benches, great views, and rich history—sometimes even coffee and cakes for sale. Enjoy the fertile landscape of fields, meadows, and flowers.
Shortly after Risberget, head east on the gravel road, where the terrain shifts to feature numerous small lakes and streams. The open, serene environment with pine trees and marshlands creates a true wilderness experience, offering excellent opportunities to spot moose. The quality of the gravel roads varies, so adjust your speed accordingly.
Several cozy cabins along the route provide perfect rest spots, and Svartbergskoia, with its benches, is ideal for a break before the final leg along Ulvåa and up to Gravberget.
Beautiful view, benches and a lot of history.
