Tromsø – Kirkenes

Travel north and east from Tromsø and combine cycling and sailing in a truly unique adventure.

This journey takes place over six days and visits the ports of Tromsø, Honningsvåg, Kjøllefjord, Mehamn and Kirkenes. Tromsø is easily accessible by plane, and bicycle rentals are available. We recommend arriving a bit early to experience Tromsø – the gateway to the Arctic Ocean – before Hurtigruten/Havila departs northbound in the evening. From Honningsvåg, a demanding but spectacular cycling trip leads you to the North Cape. Returning to Honningsvåg, a short boat ride takes you to Kjøllefjord, where you continue cycling on the Nordkinn Peninsula towards Mehamn and on to Gamvik and the Slettnes lighthouse.

Back in Mehamn, the voyage continues through the evening and night, heading eastward with arrival in Kirkenes in the morning.
