Today you continue towards Tønsberg on minor roads and cycle paths. Tønsberg is a lively summer town with harbour life and the characteristic Slottsfjellet. A trip up here gives a great view of the fjord.

From Tønsberg you have two choices. 1: Cycle out on Nøtterøy to Tenvik brygge and take the ferry out to Veierland – a car-free, idyllic island. Here you can enjoy the calm atmosphere before you take the ferry on to Engø brygge and cycle into Sandefjord. This is a very special experience and absolutely recommended. Just check the time schedule of the ferries.
Alternative 2: Follow the coastal route further along the mainland to Sandefjord. Here there are pleasant, winding roads past farms. The map shows option 1.
