Oslo – Drammen
The road out of Oslo runs along the Oslofjord and the cycle path here is one of the most used by cyclists in Norway. It is very nice to cycle along the seaside. Through Asker, there will be a few height meters to climb. It´s more rural and you cycle on small roads passing by the charming outdoor Asker museum. Asker center has several cafes if you want a rest.

It continues with some climbing further towards Lier before it then descends steadily towards Drammen. Parts of the route run on the old train tracks of Drammensbanen which is now a great hiking and cycling trail. Along the Drammen river, cycling conditions have become good all the way towards the city centre. There´s a lot of hotels, restaurants and things to do here – on both sides of the river.
