You continue cycling along Numedalslågen and the first part of today’s short stage is on a pedestrian and bicycle path. You cycle on small roads with little traffic and cozy roads along the river towards Kongsberg.
It´s an easy bike stage and there will be a good opportunity to experience Kongsberg. This 400-year old town is known for its beautiful waterfall in the city center, Norwegian Mining Museum and small town charm. Kongsberg church is Norway´s largest baroque church – with a simple exterior, but a richly decorated interior. The Silver Mines are located 8 km outside town center.
Each summer in July, Kongsberg transforms into a vibrant hub of music for the Kongsberg Jazz Festival.
In Kongsberg, several hotels offers accomodations.
