Occasionally along a busy road

Signed with red signs Route 9 Villmarksruta, but there are signs missing and somewhere misleading, so make sure to download the map upfront in your smartphone.

Leaving Gravberget, you return on the same route for a couple of kilometers and get back on the signed route no. 9. You cycle through forestry on gravel and along the river Flisa. There are several small open shacks along the river where you can stop and rest. They can also be used for camping if you got a sleeping bag. If you´re lucky, the forest is full of blueberries!

It´s also a longer distance on asphalt today, and a steady uphill, until you roll downwards and may want to stop at Rotbergsjøen for a swim or a rest. This can also be a great spot for camping. The goal of today, is Svullrya. Here you can find the first grocery store since Trysil, so make sure to stack up with what you need – next possibility is two days away. Accomodations at the Finnskogen kro and motel.

Public transport: Bus transport to/from Svullrya. Check entur.no for information.

Elevation: 630
Surface: 80 % asphalt, 20 % gravel
Safety: Shared roads, but limited traffic
