Today you will get into the wilderness as you leave Sjøenden and cross the main road between Trysil and Elverum. The gravel can be a little rough depending on preparation after the long winter, so make sure your bike has good tires for the purpose. Don´t be surprised if you catch a glimpse of a moose along the way.
Make sure to add the short detour to Halsjøen. This is a beautiful spot, where you can take a swim and relax on the sandy beach. If the water level is right, you may also be able to walk out to the small island and check out the hut Kompasset. It´s also nice to camp here if you want.
The goal of today´s ride is Gravberget – this small village with a church, some farms and Gravberget Gård, who welcomes guests with good food and a warm bed. Just make sure you´ve booked a room upfront.
