Signed with red signs Route 9 Villmarksruta, but there are signs missing and somewhere misleading, so make sure to download the map upfront in your smartphone.
Trysil is a popular cycling destination famous for it´s downhill slopes. This is where the Villmarksruta starts it´s long way towards Halden in the south. You cross the Trysil River, and you meet the first hill. After about 5 km the gravel starts and it´s open forest landscape with great mountain view in the distance.
Ulvsjøen is a nice resting place with bench and beach. Next lake is Osensjøen and at the end of the lake you´ll find a camping site at Sjøenden with cabins for rent or use your tent. Make sure to bring the food you want for this day trip.
