Alta, located in the far north of Norway in the region of Finnmark, is a picturesque town surrounded by dramatic Arctic landscapes, including fjords, forests, and snowy plains. Known as “The City of the Northern Lights,” Alta has earned its title due to its unique geographical location, which offers some of the most stable and clear weather conditions in the Arctic, making it an ideal spot for observing the Aurora Borealis.

You will spend your nights in the stylish Aurora Canvas Dome, nestled in a small pine forest. This is glamping at an entirely new level! The dome is equipped with a large and exceptionally comfortable Wonderland bed, luxurious down duvets, a wood-burning stove, underfloor heating, electricity, and Wi-Fi. The north-facing wall and much of the roof are transparent, allowing you to marvel at the Northern Lights, the changing weather, wind, and even the small birds and squirrels, all from the warm and cozy interior. Each dome also includes a private toilet and washbasin. Alternatively, you can stay in the modern and stylish GLØD Boutique Apartment, a fantastic choice for families seeking a comfortable and elegant stay.
