The first cycling stage to Årsnes (10 km) is quite tough, but If you have the time and energy, we recommend spending some time in Rosendal. Visit the Manor House from 1665, surrounded by beautiful and historic grounds, including a Renaissance rose garden. You can also visit the Folgefonn Centre, to learn about the Folgefonna National Park, the Hardangerfjord area and the environment in general.
From Rosendal, you will see some traffic. The road runs through lush farmlands, with lovely views of the Hardangerfjord. You take the ferry across the fjord and bike towards Uggdal (45 km). Known for its distinctive and personal atmosphere, Haaheim Gaard is a great place to spend the night.
