Before you leave Lunde today, make sure to bring extra food and drinks as there are limited places to eat and they´re not always open.

After 5 km you see Hogga locks and the path is a beautiful short distance on gravel along the canal, lined with stones as protection. The rest of the day will be on asphalt on slightly hilly, low-traffic roads. The landscape is dominated by trees, and the day is balanced between biking along the canal and in the woods. You pass close to steep, impressive mountain slopes. After about 22 km from Lunde, the Kilen camping can be a good restingstop. During high season it is open every day.

The last place to visit is Kviteseid Bygdetun, one of the oldest open air museums in Norway. Here you will find a collection of beautiful, traditional wooden farm buildings as well as a sculpture exhibition. If the café is open, try the tasty waffles! You are going to need it, as you are now entering the most challenging part of today´s cycling – the Kviteseidkleivene. Take it slowly up these serpentine turns. On the other side awaits gorgeous Vrådal. In Vrådal there is a convenience store and Straand Hotel is beautiful located overlooking the lake Vråvatn.
