The route on your phone
Become a member to use the route with your phone. You can use the app, or open the GPX file in another map app or GPS device.
Along the route, you’ll cycle through small, idyllic villages, with several spots where you can take a break and enjoy the tranquility by the riverbank. The area is known for its rich wildlife, and it’s not uncommon to spot birds, moose, or reindeer along the way. As you approach Åmsele after 40 km, the landscape opens up slightly, offering a mix of forests and agricultural areas.
Heading south for another 45 km, you´ll get to Vindeln. This is a small town with hotel, food, store and a nice restaurant by the Vindel River. This national river is renowned for its clear waters and salmon fishing, serving as a scenic backdrop for much of this stage.
