If you have the time, consider cycling the roughly 30 kilometers to Syltefjord, a small, abandoned fishing village that fills with holiday visitors during the summer and offers camping accommodations.
From Båtsfjord to Berlevåg, you’ll cycle through spectacular landscapes along the Arctic Coast. The route takes you over mountains where nature is at its most majestic. After about 58 kilometers, you’ll reach Kongsfjord, a charming village with a guesthouse, local grocery store, and art gallery. Known for its rich bird life, Kongsfjord is an ideal spot to rest overnight for those who want to take a slower pace before continuing toward Berlevåg.
