Ullensaker and Nannestad are two municipalities located just north of the Oslo area. The main airport in Norway is located here, and it is actually possible to get on your bike and start your trip straight from the airport. It is also very easy to travel by train. Fine cycle paths and country roads take you around an easy cycling terrain with fields and meadows, farms and towns, cultural history and ravine landscapes.

There are opportunities to swim in water and ponds and in the towns there are good opportunities to have a bite to eat along the way. It is also very special to experience the tank shooting range at Trandum and the memorial from the days of the war.

Why not follow the national cycle route The pilgrimage route runs through the area and takes you to the historic Eidsvoll building – one of Norway’s foremost national symbols where the Constitution was written and adopted in 1814. Romeriksåsen with its large forest areas is also a great cycling area if you want a bit more dirt roads and hilly terrain. There is a large selection of hotels that are ready to welcome their cycling guests.
