A real mountain tour on fine gravel roads.
Continue the climb up Totenåsen from Grøna. The highest point is at 628 meters above sea level. It´s more forest on good gravel roads. Further up the mountain, you´ll pass Torsetra, where there is usualle a café in the weekends. Be mindful at Torsetra to take the correct path onward.
The surroundings are characterized by cabins, sheep and goats, lakes, and rivers. It is idyllic, quiet, and peaceful. Blueberries grow in the forest. From Lake Øyungen, the descent begins. Once you reach Hurdal, you´ll find a place to eat and a grocery store. Here you leave the Mjøstråkk route for about 5 km to reach Hurdalsjøen Hotel, where there are accommodation option by the idyllic Lake Hurdalsjøen.
