Leaving Sogndalstrand, you pass smooth rocky shores with stunning ocean views. The road is calm and scenic, perfect for a relaxing start. Soon, you enter a quiet forest, where it feels like you have the world to yourself—no people, just nature. Nesvåg with the old wooden boat houses is worth a stop.

As you get closer to Egersund, the road becomes more trafficked, but the ride remains enjoyable. Egersund is a charming coastal town known for its white wooden houses, rich fishing history, and cozy cafés. There are hotels, shops and museums to visit.
